‘RUTA PEÑÓN DEL IFACH’ is not a regular tour!The nature of the trial makes it a hard trip and requires some steering ability.
Most cyclists are accustomed to flat roads.
We therefore ask that both your bike and your conditions are in great shape.
Look after your bike: check the tires, tubes and break pads.
Check chain and install any custom crowns for heavier climbing.
Do this a few weeks before departure so that you still have
the possibility to test everything and to do the necessary adjustments.
Pay extra attention on the trial: watch the ordinary traffic,
never forget that you are on public roads.
Be carefull not just to the climbs but also in the fall.
You are in a southern country, adapted behavior is appreciated.
In rainy weather, anticipating is the message!
Respect the following rules:
* It is not allowed to participate without inscription.
* Participants must follow the traffic rules.
* Be aware of the fact that you take part in a tour and
not in a race.
* Respect other road users.
* Pedestrians have priority at pedestrian crossing.
* Those who are on a roundabout have priority.
* Helmet is obligatory.
* Keep the roads clean, think of the environment.
* Peñón de Ifach should be a cycling festival for everyone.
* There is crono, but NO classification.
The organisation is not responsible for any accident involving body or material damage.
The organization has a ensurence ho protect the participants without license.
Every participent agry with the rules of the organisation.
The ‘PEÑÓN DE IFACH’ is not a race! Respect the traffic rules!
Bike alsways on the right side of the road and be courteous!
